Never mind those drug store cowboys, we wear our boots to work in, NOT to dance in!

Texas is quite a place, very large and diverse. It would take you 12 hours, not stopping, to drive from the bottom of the valley to the top of the panhandle, or from El Paso to Texarkana. We have beaches, mountains, lakes, rivers, forests and deserts. Language accents vary widely from East Texas drawl to a flat mid western tongue. Texas has a strong Hispanic history and nowhere in the world is the Mexican food better. Our seafood is to die for, just make sure it's fresh from the Gulf!
So enjoy and remember, we are a friendly state, but most folks here carry firearms!
