JerseyVillageNYCTripPage2

Howdy, had to add another page to this!  I had no idea I took this many pics!

We saw lots of places to shop and famous sites around New York City.

The Cathedral at Saint Patricks

Movies are made here!

We saw Ground Zero, which was just a hole in the ground, nothing much going on there.
It's a very sad place though.

Not good visibility for seeing this lady, but she was there!

We got to spend time on Broadway

The sights of the city kept us busy all day until late.

We even saw our name in lights on Broadway!

This is some extreme post processing, but very fun and artistic. New York is PERFECT
for this type of fun photography. I plan to do a whole series on just Chinatown!
May get into a gallery?? Maybe??
Keep your fingers crossed for me!

A Little Shopping Trip to Toys-R-Us

By Friday Afternoon the rain had started and the next two days we spent under umbrellas.
But colorful umbrellas and the reflections sure makes for nice photos!

Oh my! There were ghosts at Applebees too!

We had a great view from Applebees!

After we ate the FUN started! We went to a Broadway Play, Legally Blonde!

Welcome to Day Three of our New York Trip! It rained, no...it POURED on us all day
and we had to dress up in our Opera clothes for the evening's performance.
Needless the say the umbrella folks made some money off of us!

Some of us got serenaded!

The saddest part of our trip was going to the little church across from Ground Zero.
The kids sang a few songs, but most ended up teary eyed. The place is a beautiful
memorial to the fireflighters who died at the World Trade Center.
I believe it is St. Paul's Chapel.

The view of Ground Zero from the steps of the church.

Mrs Neena Taylor directed the choir in quite a few patriotic and religious songs.
There wasn't too many folks who weren't crying after this! It was such a moving place
and the kids sounded so wonderful.

Please continue on to page 3 for our trip to Chinatown, Pier 17 and the New York Opera!
