Of all the pictures that I took, the ones in Chinatown were my absolute favorites! The combination of rain, colorful umbrellas and reflections make wonderful shots. Hope you enjoy them!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The shopping was great in Chinatown, you never know what you wil find! Like Plaid boots!

 

 

 

 

We then ventured to Pier 17 for a little lunch and some shopping! We were fogged in, pouring rain, lots of wind and umbrellas turned inside out!

After a day of walking around  in the rain in our Opera clothes, we finally arrived at the New York Opera House for an afternoon performance and then a chance to see "Madame Butterfly" that evening. The kids sang at Lincoln Center, next to the opera house, when a crowd let out of a matinee performance. Then we took a tour of the opera house before the show that night.

We got to see Madame Butterfly!

 

 

 

 

After a full day of Chinatown, Pier 17 in the pouring rain, The New York Opera House and Madame Butterfly, this is how I felt at 11:30 on the bus going back to the hotel...no, I was not drinking or using illegal drugs! But at my age it was WAY past my bedtime!

 

This ends day 3 and I will have more on Monday! Hope you ALL have a GREAT Easter!
