Welcome to Linda Unger Photography!

I started photography at age 18 when I bought my first camera from a local ad in a newpaper where I was working. Since that time, I have worked for magazines, newpapers and printing companies. I've done old fashioned "rock the tray" developing, eventually graduated to the more modern Digital Post Processing. I'm very eclectic in my art. From nature, portraits, landscapes, wildlife, weddings, macro photography, night photography and artistic impressions, I love doing them all and can't decide which is more fun.  See my work on Treklens!

I am Texas born and Texas proud! But each place I have visited gives me an opportunity to take a bit of that place home with me.  I have made many photography friends all over the world and hope someday to travel and have a photography day with each of them.

Some would say I'm a late bloomer. I didn't start playing softball until I was 40. I moved into my very first apartment alone at age 41. I bought my first motorcycle at age 45 and starting riding. I ran my first 5K and ran the whole thing without stopping at 48. So my goal next year is the half marathon at 49 and the full marathon by age 50. Seems like life just gets better after 40!

I am married to a wonderful man named Dave, who puts up with my veering off the road for a "shot or two" like a champ! I have two children. My son Andy, 22, is the best son a mom could have. He is currently attending the University of Houston and is working for Bechtel.  And my daughter Shelby, 18, who has her own style and talent with photography, also a counselor at a Christian camp and will be attending Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth this Fall. You can see her photography on www.TrekLens.com and her WebName is Shelbee.

My work can currently be seen and critiqued at:

I've been a member since 2004.

My faith has kept me pursuing the beauty of this rock we call Earth and seeking the beauty behind each person I photograph. Without my faith, I would be dead already. Check out my pictures and see if you can see the Power of God in each shot!

Thanks for visiting.........
